Winchester Writers Festival
16 - 18 June 2017
I gave my very first workshop on WRITING, PITCHING, TWEETING WOMEN’S FICTION. It was amazing to go back to the Winchester Festival where I met my agent four years earlier and share my experience with the attendees. We discussed what it takes to make a women’s fiction submission stand out, covering everything from novel ideas and titles, to Twitter pitches and agent one-to-one pitches.
Romance in the Court
25 May 2017 6-9pm
Hosted by Goldsboro Books in Leicester Square, this was the second year of #Romanceinthecourt and it was another sparklingly sunny evening. It was wonderful to spend time celebrating romantic fiction with avid readers, publishers, and incredible authors (to name a few: Katie Fforde, Jo Thomas, Jules Wake, Phillipa Ashley, Chrissie Manby, Michelle Gorman, Rosie Blake, Isabelle Broom, Julie Cohen, Janet Gover and Erin Green). Tickets were only £5 which were redeemable off a book and drinks were included. Make sure you don't miss out next year!

Surrey New Writers Festival
6 May 2017
I had a fabulous time at this one day festival for writers. I was on a panel (Genre and the Novel – How Important are Labels?) with fellow writers, Stewart Ferris, Holly Howitt-Dring and one of my all-time favourite writers, Elizabeth Nobel! We had a lively discussion about the relationship between genre and commercial marketability.

The Village Bookshop - Book Signing
22 April 2017
I was super excited to go back to the Village Bookshop in Woodford Green where I used to be a Saturday girl many years ago. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces come in to buy a signed copy of Puzzle Girl.

The London Book Fair - Publication Day Signing
16 March 2017
Publication day was brilliant. I got to spend it with both my husband and my publisher. It was the last day of the London Book Fair and it was great to go along, surrounded by the publishing industry on such an important milestone in my writing career. Accent Press were giving away free copies of Puzzle Girl that I was signing and it was great to meet so many publishing professionals and bloggers. Thanks to everyone who said hello!

Goldsboro Books - Puzzle Girl Hardback Book Launch!
2 March 2017
This was the moment I felt like an author, I signed hundreds of copies of the limited edition hardback of Puzzle Girl (exclusive to Goldsboro). It was so special to be surrounded by family, friends, my agent and editor to celebrate the launch of Puzzle Girl. The Goldsboro team had filled the bookshop with puzzle pieces and there was a beautiful window display.
